Certifications for Equestrian Centers, Shows, and Riders
We are a non-profit organization 501c4 dedicated to helping horse people understand the importance of horses and horse activities functioning as valuable participants in our shared environment.
Turn our waste into restorative, vital soil , in neighborhoods near horse facilities. Soil retains, filters rain, boosts biodiversity, and cools the parks and yards where it is applied.
1. Research- discovers, develops and shares best practices specific to horses.
2. Education- shares these discoveries with riders, event managers and facility owners, so that we control runoff before it starts.
3. Advocacy- gives Water Agencies examples of clean practices that new policy can be based on.
Take three steps to support us-
1. Learn about watershed all around us, and how it has many challenges.
2. Learn what you can do to make sure you "let nothing but rain go down the drain!"
2. Support the long term compliance through education of all riders, and Earth-riders efforts to share our clean example with the policy makers.
Start by signing up for our Green Card Exam, and our Newsletter.
Knowing that horses can feed an ecosystem, one Earth-riders co-founder was inspired by the wild ponies who have persisted for 400 years on a small island. They bought a pony, and are fundraising to bring him to California, where he can be part of the Sustainable Equestrians Education effort.
